Our church is assembled of a group of Romanian Christians that were accompanied by other nationalities. The church was founded in 2008 in Chapel Hill and relocated to Raleigh in 2009 where it’s located currently. We are a diverse group of people coming from various backgrounds. Some of us were born here while others emigrated mostly from Romania. Our religious background consists of various denominational beliefs and doctrines. Yet, what unites us into a fellowship and communion of believers is the gift of Grace given through the Holy Spirit. Our guiding motive is faith seeking understanding. Our faith is belief in the Living God which is both a mystery beyond human comprehension, yet a God that is revealed through the revelation of the Holy Spirit.
Our Church was brought together by the power of the Holy Spirit through direct revelation from God, whether through visions, prophecies or dreams, the Spirit spoke individually to us. By obedience to His word, we all left lucrative careers, schools, friends and family and some of us even changed professions in order to listen to God’s prompting to relocate to North Carolina. In His mercy God promised that He set aside certain places as haven for His people. In His Sovereignty God brought us here to use us as candles in the dark, as guiding lights to bring about His Kingdom as harbingers of the Kingdom.
Church of the Living Lamb is a division of Emanuel Romanian Church of Raleigh, Inc., an incorporated & independent organization. Church of the Living Lamb is a non-denominational entity.
"Now I know only in part; then I will know fully, even as I have been fully known. And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love."
